Hi friends. I'm Pastor John Peters, an ordained & licensed Wedding Officiant Charleston, South Carolina. In the past few years, I have officiated over 600 weddings of all sizes, with couples of all ages, in every type venue imaginable. I am flexible & creative while working with couples in the planning & implementation of their wedding ceremonies. There is no greater joy than sharing in that special day & making it exactly what the couple has envisioned. I keep a diary of every wedding I do & would love to write a book about weddings one day.

(A) Yes & Yes!
How long do you usually paint for?
(A) I'll be at the venue early and stay as late as needed to. It's about 7-8 hours.
Can you also do watercolor portraits of the guests?
(A) Sure do!
What paints do you use?
(A) Professional Acrylic.
How much of the painting will be complete? Will I get the painting that day?
(A) During the wedding I get about 90% of it complete, then I make the final touches in-studio within 7 days.

The Cotton Press offers a variety of services from equipment rental, staffing services and event planning. We do not provide food or drink but allow you to select your choice of approved vendors. Whether “The Cotton Press” is needed for a ceremony, reception, family reunion or conference, we are committed to providing you the perfect space to suit your needs.
We offer the entire facility for your special day. Weddings booked with us have access to all areas as well as tables and chairs for up to 200 guests. The Bride has an upstairs large suite with a makeup bar and private bath for you and your bridesmaids to prepare for the day. The Groom has an area to dress and relax before the wedding a top the spiral staircase in the lower building. Both areas have wireless internet as well as wireless speakers to play your own music.
